Former Capitol Police Officer Picks Up His Paint Brush

As the country marks the first anniversary of the Insurrection on January 6th, Tommy chats with Winston Pingeon, a former member of the Capitol Police.

Winston was at the Capitol on January 6, 2021, and fought for hours with his fellow officers. He was injured by physical violence and sprayed with what he described as bear and pepper spray.
In the months after January 6th, he started painting to tell his story and to heal. Listen to his journey through art.
